The Code: Horizon of Infinity
The Code: Horizon of Infinity is an awe-inspiring metaphysical
narrative steeped in science and poetry. Delving into both the a
priori and phenomenological dimensions of cognition, this odyssey
of outer-body experience treks through the boundaries of time and
space, surpassing the synthetic structures of empirical consciousness
with almost supernatural finesse.
Mr. Broes traces the foundations and constant process of creation
and re-creation from the primordial to the biological, taking the
reader on a textured and colorful journey beyond the myopia of the
self and into the realms of oceanic connectivity through the
self. Employing complex metaphors and haunting imagery to illustrate
this ontological and cosmological program, The Code: Horizon
of Infinity proves deeply personal for the author while, at the
same time, wholly universal.
It is clear from his text that Mr. Broes is an astute philosopher
and gifted poet, presenting heightened concepts in the form of
narrative and narrative in the form of heightened concepts. There is
a hint of Leibniz and Heidegger in the writing, with flavors of
Holderlin and Nerval to give it a literary flare; and yet The
Code: Horizon of Infinity defies categorization or clear
precedence— it is extremely original and entirely compelling in its
own right as a startling breakthrough in modern thought. A scientific
exploration of the beautiful and daunting— and a beautiful and
daunting exploration of the scientific— I truly cannot recommend
this book more highly.
